Do not waste one thin dime on this product. It is horrid. I will keep this short and sweet. I have a Sony SRF-M85V. No FM reception, bleeds other stations through.
AM/FM reception is clear and it's in a nice, extremely lightweight (and pretty eye-turning) package. It can get very loud or very soft in an instant, and the "Hold" switch doesn't help. Sony must have fixed the problem of the radio that got no reception because this little wonder is fantastic. Only problem I have is the volume - a small "wheel" at the base of the radio - turns too easily if you clip the radio to your waist instead of using the arm band.
Better then any Ipod or other walkman, this is old school and still the best at a even better price then when buying it at any store.
For the price you can't beat this product. Also receives FM, Weather & local TV. Great reception on the AM band. Also has a clock, timer & more. Excellent portable radio. Uses 1 aaa battery that last me all week at work using it nearly 8 hours a day. Sound is very good.
It is lightweight and only takes one battery. I am so happy with this product. It has great sound and it is just a wonderful product.
